When I came to college, I had no clue what I was in for. Like so many other naïve college kids I thought I was set for my career. I wanted to be a doctor. Or maybe a performer. I played the cello well enough. Or maybe I just wanted to be a video game designer. And the list went on. God only knows what else I was considering. All I know is that things did not turn out quite the way that I wanted them too. College was one of those times where everything was thrown into perspective and all of our thoughts about what we wanted to do, or who we wanted to be when we grew up, completely shot out the window.
